The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) is asking its traders to submit polished stones for a launch campaign to promote the movie Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.
As part of the promotion for the diamond-heist movie, partially shot in Antwerp, Qmusic radio station will organize a contest in which the winner will receive a polished diamond worth EUR 5,000 ($5,829), the AWDC said Friday. Two other activities will take place, in which successful entrants will get a prize of a polished diamond, each worth EUR 1,000 ($1,166).
DPG media, the radio station’s owner, is looking to purchase stones of good commercial quality that are suitable for setting into jewelry. Diamonds should be larger size, lower quality, and in stock in Antwerp, so they are instantly available.
The bourse asks for any interested members to submit available options by October 21 for consideration.
