Diamond analyst Avi Krawitz, founder of The Diamond Press, has launched a new quarterly report and an exclusive members’ group to facilitate industry conversation.
The Diamond Executive Report, a paid product, offers financial analysis, industry reporting and proprietary datasets, Krawitz said in a statement Wednesday. The inaugural edition, titled “The Value of De Beers,” examines the diamond miner’s position ahead of Anglo American’s divestment of the business.
The report also introduces the Global Diamond & Jewelry Tracker, which follows 15 publicly listed companies across the sector, bringing together revenue and profit figures to assess the industry’s performance.
Krawitz, who set up The Diamond Press in January 2025 as a source of industry news and analysis, has also debuted the Diamond Executive Club, a members’ group offering early access to the report as well as bimonthly strategy sessions, follow-up papers, private consultations, ongoing access to data and analysis, and discussion groups.
“The value is not just in the data, it’s in the conversation,” Krawitz said. “Bringing together people who are shaping the industry and giving them a space to engage in a meaningful way is just as important as the research itself.”
Krawitz set up shop as an independent journalist, analyst and consultant for the diamond and jewelry industry in 2023 after 16 years as Rapaport’s senior analyst.
