AGS Elects International Board of Directors

Alexis Padis, president of Padis Jewelry, will serve a second one-year term as president of the board of directors for the American Gem Society (AGS).    

Meanwhile, the group reappointed Bryan Moeller, co-owner of R.F. Moeller Jeweler, as president-elect at its recent annual meeting for the 2025 to 2026 term, it said last week. 

The group also reelected William Farmer, Jr., as senior adviser and Mitchell Clark as secretary. Larry Rickert will be treasurer and chair of the finance, audit and legal committee, positions he held from 2022 to 2024.  

The organization reelected the following committee chairs: 
John Carter, gemological sciences committee 

Dave Bindra, young titleholders committee 

Kevin Mays, education committee 

Amanda Coleman-Phelps, international guilds council  

Denise Richards, conclave subcommittee  

Sarah Person, membership committee  

It also appointed the following directors-at-large: 

Chris Anderson  

Sarin Bachmann  

Ryan Berg  

Brecken Farnsworth  

Brad Hampton  

Kendra Lindell  

David Mazer  

Melissa Quick
