A yellow diamond ring will be the star of the upcoming jewelry sale at Phillips, where it is set to fetch up to $1.3 million.

The brilliant-cut, 15.51-carat, fancy-vivid-yellow, VS2-clarity stone is one of several colored diamonds that will lead the March 28 Hong Kong Jewels auctions, Phillips said Tuesday. The sale will also include a large selection of jewelry with Burmese rubies and Colombian emeralds.

Vintage pieces and items by well-known design houses such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier will also be on offer, as will those featuring highly sought-after gems including Burmese red spinel and Paraiba tourmaline from Mozambique and Brazil.

The auction house will preview the jewels in Singapore and Taipei, Taiwan.

Here are the rest of the top five items at the auction:

This ring features a cushion-shaped, 1.38-carat, fancy-vivid-purplish-pink, SI2-clarity diamond center stone within a spiraling dome-shaped mount, set with circular-cut pink sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds. It is estimated at $320,000 to $450,000.

A pear-shaped, 2.65-carat, fancy-intense-orangey-pink, VS1-clarity diamond ring with two pear-shaped diamond accent stones is expected to bring in up to $400,000.

Phillips will offer a bracelet set with 12 cushion-shaped, oval and circular-cut Burmese rubies weighing approximately 24.59 carats and kite-shaped white diamonds for $230,000 to $300,000.
This necklace contains 35 variously cut Burmese rubies weighing approximately 37.72 carats, accented with white diamonds. It has a presale estimate of $180,000 to $280,000.
