The fascination with Cartier, one of the world’s most prominent jewelers, never ceases. Its rich history is well chronicled in museums and by books, the most recent of which is Cartier at Prague Castle — The Power of Style. This new volume on the famed jeweler is based on a 2010 Cartier exhibition at Prague Castle. Both the exhibit and the book highlight more than 360 pieces from the chronology of the House of Cartier. The exhibition was comprised of pieces from the Cartier Collection, an archive of over 1,300 pieces of jewelry that detail the changing designs and techniques of the firm from its beginning. With texts by Eva Eisler, Rony Plesl, Pierre Rainero and Pascale Lepeu, the 320-page tome, published by Flammarion, features 450 images and will be available in late January.
