Matt Stuller of Stuller Inc. will receive the Gem Award for Lifetime Achievement from Jewelers of America (JA).
The award committee chose Stuller in recognition of his accomplishments and impact on the jewelry industry, JA said Tuesday. He will accept the honor at the 25th annual GEM Awards on March 12, 2027, in New York.
Stuller began building his eponymous company in 1970, traveling across the southern US and delivering jewelry to customers from his car. His focus on speed, reliability and personal service formed the foundation of the business, which has since grown into a global manufacturer, supplier and technology provider serving the jewelry industry, JA added.
Stuller has expanded its operations across North America, and to Barcelona, Spain, and Bangkok, Thailand, offering a range of jewelry products and services.
“It has been remarkable to see what [Stuller] has accomplished, the extensive list of businesses he has served and the impact he has made on our industry ,” said JA CEO David Bonaparte. “We can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honor on our 25th anniversary.”
The annual GEM Awards recognize companies and individuals for their outstanding contributions to the fine-jewelry and watch industries. A committee of industry professionals selects the recipients.
