A Bulgari sapphire ring will lead the upcoming Phillips auction in Hong Kong, where it could fetch up to HKD 9.5 million ($1.2 million).
The jewel centers a cushion-shaped, 9.86-carat Kashmir sapphire between a pair of shield-shaped diamonds. The piece will be among the top lots at the September 29 Hong Kong Jewels Auction, according to the Phillips website.
The auction house is offering 95 lots, including jewels from famous designers such as Cartier, Harry Winston, and Van Cleef & Arpels.

A pair of earrings sporting step-cut, fancy-brown-yellow diamonds, one a 12.55-carat, VS2 and the other 12.56-carat, VS1 stone, each suspended from a modified hexagonal step-cut diamond and spaced by a triangular-shaped diamond.
The auction house is offering a ring with a cushion-shaped, 13.82-carat Burmese sapphire, between two trapezoid modified brilliant-cut diamonds.
A ring centering an oval, vivid-emerald-green Burmese jadeite of high translucency, in a surround of oval and brilliant-cut diamonds and brilliant-cut diamond shoulders.
This ring bears an oval, Mozambican ruby weighing 6.06-carats, in a pear- and marquise-shaped diamond surround and brilliant-cut diamond shoulders.
A bracelet comprising 40 oval, cushion-shaped and circular-cut Burmese rubies, adorned with pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds.
