Sarine Opens Tech Lab in Mumbai

RAPAPORT… Sarine Technologies has opened its second laboratory, offering
a full range of grading and documentation services.



The new Mumbai facility follows the opening of the company’s first lab
in Ramat Gan, Israel, earlier this year.



The lab will produce diamond reports including 4Cs grading,
which it will provide using its artificial-intelligence technology. The documents
will also include verification of treatment, as well as light-performance
information, interactive diamond imaging and a record of a stone’s journey
from rough to polished.



“The Mumbai lab’s opening is a critical step,” said Sarine
CEO David Block. “It will enable us to provide an efficient, local solution for
our high-volume retail customers by certifying their diamonds immediately
after they are polished. In today’s evolving retail environment, diamond manufacturers
and sellers must focus on enhancing the consumer experience and raising
consumer confidence in the quality of their diamonds.”
