Solid US market for elongated Ovals of good shape and quality in D-I, VS-SI categories. Very well-cut fancy shapes difficult to find and commanding premiums. Fancies with bad proportions illiquid.

Modern old euros and modern old mines hot, with retailers already making post-Vegas reorders. Rounds from 1 to 1.99 ct. recovering.
Belgium
Trading stable. Shortages supporting prices. Solid interest in large diamonds, particularly 5 ct. and larger, and fancy shapes in 2 to 4 ct., G-H, VVS1-VS2 categories. Radiants in demand. Fancy-color segment has cooled.

Market quiet.
India
Activity steady, though goods taking longer to sell. Large, high-quality diamonds moving better than smaller, lower-quality ones. 0.30 ct. rebounding amid low inventories. Long fancies popular. Domestic market seasonally slow, with activity expected to improve ahead of India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) in August and wedding season later in the year.
Hong Kong
Jewellery & Gem Asia Hong Kong show this month drew serious buyers from southeast Asia and India. Loose-diamond section slow, but stones over 5 ct. in high qualities attracted interest.
