A Patek Philippe watch with a $1.6 million price tag will lead an upcoming Christie’s sale in New York.

Manufactured in 1981, the timepiece is 18-karat white gold and features an automatic perpetual calendar, red-dot leap year indication and moon phases. The piece, one of only two known samples, will feature at the June 12 Important Watches auction, Christie’s said last week.

Other highlights include a red Richard Mille limited edition dual time tourbillon wristwatch power reserve, which has an upper estimate of $1 million. Meanwhile, a Patek Philippe watch — bearing 893 diamonds totaling 4.47 carats and 182 baguette diamonds weighing 15.46 carats — also has a top price of $1 million.

Christie’s will offer two other Patek Philippe timepieces with high estimates of $500,000. The first is a rare pink gold limited edition split-second monopusher chronograph from 2018, and the other, made for the 40th anniversary of the Nautilus model, features a blue anniversary baguette diamond-set dial.

The auction house will present 140 wristwatches, including pieces from famous designers such as Rolex, Audemars Piguet and Cartier.
