Sotheby’s will showcase a 5.72-carat sapphire at its upcoming London auction.
The ring centers a cushion-shaped Kashmir gem within a surround of eight brilliant-cut diamonds. It will have a high price of GBP 180,000 ($242,835) at the June 3 Fine Jewelry sale, according to the Sotheby’s website.
The auction house will offer over 200 jewels, many featuring colored diamonds and gemstones. Piece from famous designers such as Bulgari, Cartier and Boucheron will also go under the hammer.
Here are the rest of the top five pieces:

A ring bearing a brilliant-cut, 8.03-carat, G-color, VS2-clarity diamond between curved baguette shoulders.

A ring starring a radiant-cut, 10.22-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, VVS1 diamond between two trapeze-shaped stones, on offer with no reserve.

A pair of Monture Cartier brooches from around 1935 designed as flowerheads, each featuring an old brilliant-cut diamond cluster center, surrounded by similarly set pierced petals, on a baguette-cut diamond stem.

This ring centers a brilliant-cut, 10.29-carat, M, VVS2 diamonds, within a frame of step- and brilliant-cut and heart-shaped diamonds.
