The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT) has named Jeffery Corey of H. E. Murdock Company as chairperson for a one-year term.
As well as choosing him as chairperson, the group also reelected him to the board for a two-year period, it said Monday. Corey originally joined the board in 2017.
JBT, a nonprofit organization that provides credit reporting and collection services, held its annual board meeting on March 19.
The following officers and directors will serve a one-year term:
First vice chairman: Andrew Rickard, Rochester Diamonds and Gold, Rochester, New York
President: Erich Jacobs
Secretary: Brenda M. Pimentel
Treasurer: Erich Jacobs
The JBT board also newly elected the following people for a two-year period:
Thomas Davis, director of business development of Select Jewelry, Long Island City, New York
Arien Gessner, president of Rio Grande, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Grant Hansen, chief information security officer of Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co., Neenah, Wisconsin.
