An emerald and diamond necklace with an $800,000 high estimate will lead the upcoming Phillips auction in New York.
The piece, containing 20 graduated step-cut Colombian emeralds, alternating with rows of brilliant-cut diamonds, will take center stage at the June 10 New York Jewels sale, according to the Phillips website.
The auction house is offering jewels featuring colored gemstones, as well as pieces from famous designers including Van Cleef & Arpels, Graff, and David Webb.
Here are some of the top jewels on sale:

A ring bearing an oval, 31.77-carat Mozambique Paraiba tourmaline, embellished by rows of marquise-shaped diamonds and circular-cut blue tourmalines, and with brilliant-cut diamonds on the band.

This necklace sports a pear-shaped, 5.86-carat Brazilian Paraiba tourmaline in a brilliant-cut diamond frame.

A ring centering a cut-cornered rectangular modified brilliant-cut, 14.71-carat, fancy-intense-yellow, VS1-clarity diamond, between two triangular-cut stones.

A step-cut, 7.30-carat, F, VS1 diamond — flanked by tapered baguette diamonds — is the star of this ring.

The auction house is offering a ring featuring an octagonal step-cut Colombian emerald between two calf’s head-cut diamonds.

A pair of Harry Winston earrings, each featuring one marquise and three pear-shaped diamonds, with a total weight of around 16.15 carats.

A ring centering a step-cut, 5.29-carat, D, VS1 diamond between two triangular stones.

This ring bears a pear-shaped, 9.30-carat Mozambique Paraiba tourmaline between shield-shaped diamonds.

A pair of earrings, each comprising two oval Mozambique Paraiba tourmalines, weighing a total of approximately 14 carats. They are suspended from reverse-set heart-shaped diamonds, one a 1.02-carat, F, VS1 diamond and the other a 1.07-carat, F, VS1 stone.
