Sotheby’s will feature a number of jadeite and diamond pieces at its upcoming Hong Kong auction, including Cartier earrings with an upper estimate of HKD 32 million ($4.1 million).
The pear-shaped diamond earrings — suspending a 6.32-carat, fancy-intense-pink, SI2 stone and a 6.03-carat, D-color, internally flawless one — are among the top lots at the April 25 High Jewelry auction. In February, Sotheby’s revamped its jewelry sales, changing the name of its premiere auctions from Magnificent Jewels to High Jewelry to attract a younger audience.
The sale will also include items from Graff, Bulgari, and Van Cleef & Arpels, as well as colored diamonds and gemstones.
