Jamie Cygielman has joined Signet Jewelers’ leadership team, overseeing Zales and Banter.
The group has appointed Cygielman as president of the two labels, it said Tuesday. She has more than three decades of experience developing international brands and networking with consumers. Cygielman was most recently global head of dolls at Mattel and general manager and president at American Girl. She will report to Signet CEO J.K Symancyk and steer the continued development of Zales and Banter, with a focus on strengthening the brands and expanding their customer base. Under Signet’s Grow Brand Love strategy, she will lead their go-to-market approaches, driving innovation, distinctive customer experiences and stronger consumer engagement.
Meanwhile, Pam Cloud will serve as president of the luxury brand Blue Nile. She brings more than 30 years of luxury retail experience to her new position. Cloud worked at Tiffany & Co for more than 25 years and held roles such as senior vice president and chief merchandising officer and member of its executive committee, leading the launches of some of its successful collections. Cloud will report to Joan Hilson, Signet’s chief operating and financial officer, to lead Blue Nile’s next phase of growth and transformation. She will focus on the brand’s luxury positioning, including natural diamonds, and supervising its strategy across all customer touchpoints.
“Grow Brand Love is about creating distinctive brands with clear value propositions and stronger connections to the customers they serve,” said Symancyk. “[Cygielman and Cloud] are accomplished leaders who understand how to unlock the potential of iconic brands through consumer insight, innovation and disciplined execution.”
Cygielman will be based in Dallas, Texas, and her position will commence August 24. Cloud’s new role took effect August 10 in New York City.
