Titan Company’s jewelry revenue climbed in the fourth fiscal quarter as both demand and total purchase prices increased.
Sales for the segment rose 46% year on year for the three months that ended March 31, the India-based jeweler reported Tuesday. The increase comes after slower periods for the first nine months of the year.
“[Jewelry] businesses delivered a strong quarter…led by Tanishq and well-supported by Mia, both clocking robust growths compared to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025,” the company said. “The steep increase in gold prices notwithstanding, business recorded high-single-digit buyer growth in fiscal 2026 after clocking nearly flat buyer growths in the previous three quarters. The average ticket size also moved up considerably, contributing to the revenue growth in the quarter.”
Gem-studded jewelry “grew strongly,” with increases in the low 30% range. Meanwhile plain gold pieces saw jumps in the mid 30% range. Like-for-like growth across all jewelry retail formats was up approximately 48% year on year. The retailer also benefited from the opening of 27 new stores in India during the quarter, including eight Tanishq outlets, 14 Mia locations and five CaratLane shops.
Sales of watches grew 7% as a 16% year-on-year improvement in purchases of analog timepieces offset a 53% decrease in those of smart watches.
Titan’s North American business saw “strong momentum,” gaining 50% year on year in the fourth quarter. In the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, the company converted four of the Damas stores it acquired last year into Tanishq shops. Despite “significant disruptions” due to the war in the Middle East impacting sales in both Tanish and Damas outlets, business in the area gained 37% year on year during the period. Overall, Titan’s international business advanced 156% year on year.
Meanwhile, the company’s retail network increased by 170 stores over the three months, for a total of 3,603 locations. The group plans to publish its full sales data — including revenue figures — in the coming weeks.
