Pandora has opened a new distribution center in Canada to cut delivery times and offset its exposure to US tariffs.
The site, located in Mississauga, Ontario, will handle up to 12,500 online orders per day, Pandora said Tuesday. Canada is one of Pandora’s fastest-growing markets, with revenue increasing more than 50% since 2019 and surpassing DKK 1 billion ($153.9 million) last year.
More than 20% of Pandora’s Canadian sales originate online and have, until now, come through distribution centers in the US. By moving order processing to Canada, the Danish retailer will cut delivery times by up to 50% and will also eliminate US tariffs on those items, Pandora explained.
“The new distribution center is an important step forward for Pandora in Canada,” said Tania Brosseau, vice president of Pandora’s Canadian business. “It means faster deliveries, more reliable service and a better overall experience for Canadian customers. The new center reflects how we continually optimize our global distribution network to support long-term growth and strengthen our global supply chain.”
Pandora operates 96 stores in Canada.
