Sotheby’s to Offer Bevy of Big Diamonds at New York Sale

7.05-carat diamond ring at Sotheby's image

A 7.05-carat diamond ring will lead an upcoming auction at Sotheby’s in New York, one of several large stones on offer. 

The Tiffany and Co. piece bearing a square emerald-cut, E-color, VS2-clarity diamond, flanked by tapered-baguette diamonds will star at the June 2 Fine Jewelry sale, according to the Sotheby’s website. It’s up for sale without reserve and is expected to bring in $300,000. 

The auction house will offer 274 lots with several items from famous jewelry houses, such as Graff, Harry Winston and Bulgari.

A pair of stud earrings features round, D-color, type IIa diamonds, one a 3.33-carat, VVS1-clarity diamond and the other a 3.20-carat, VVS2-clarity. It has an upper estimate of $250,000.

This ring bears an emerald-cut, 4.20-carat, fancy-vivid-yellow, VVS2-clarity diamond flanked by a pair of emerald-cut diamonds weighing 1.08  and 1.07 carats. It carries a top price of $220,000.

Centering a round, 6.01-carat, E-color, VS2-clarity diamond flanked by round diamonds, this ring is estimated to fetch as much as $180,000. 
Cushion-cut Madagascan sapphire sapphire and diamond ring at Sotheby's image
This ring features a cushion-cut, 18.18-carat Madagascan sapphire, embellished with pavé-set round diamonds. It has a high price of $180,000.

Sotheby’s will offer this pair of round diamond-stud earrings containing a 4.21-carat, J-color, VVS1-clarity stone and a 4.20-carat, J-color, VVS2-clarity one. They could realize up to $180,000.

Featuring a cut-cornered rectangular brilliant, 14.32-carat, fancy-yellow, SI2-clarity diamond flanked by a pair of triangle-shaped diamonds, this ring has an upper estimate of $150,000.

This ring bears a cushion-cut, 5.13-carat Kashmir sapphire surrounded and accented by single-cut diamonds. It has a high price of $150,000.
Harry Winston ring emerald-cut diamond ring at Sotheby's image
A Harry Winston ring with an emerald-cut, 4.97-carat, E-color, VVS2-clarity diamond center stone and tapered baguette diamonds has a top estimate of $140,000.  
Diamond necklace of rivière design at Sotheby's image
This necklace of rivière design has an estimate of $125,000. It’s set with 75 graduated round diamonds weighing a total of 39.89 carats, of J to K color and VVS2 to SI2 clarity.
