Colored Diamonds Lead Heritage Jewelry Auction

Two colored diamond rings were the stars of the recent holiday jewelry sale at Heritage Auctions, which brought in $4.9 million.

“It’s no surprise these jewels captivated our bidders,” Jill Burgum, executive director of fine jewelry at the Dallas, Texas-based auction house said earlier this month. “Colored diamonds are some of the rarest and most valuable treasures on Earth, and both of these rings hold exceptional examples of the sought-after gemstones.”
