Richline Group has promoted Arien Gessner and Moss Makhoulian to newly established executive roles.

The appointments represent an important step in the company’s long-term organizational strategy, placing its businesses under a corporate management structure, Richline said last week. The move is intended to strengthen collaboration across the company’s portfolio, improve operational alignment and support future growth.

As chief revenue officer, Gessner will oversee the integration of the company’s revenue strategy across the group. Gessner joined the company 13 years ago as a marketing manager at Rio Grande, where he also held the roles of marketing director, vice president and president. He is currently the head of revenue for the Rio Grande, LeachGarner Attleboro, Nordt, and Silpada divisions. The group credits Gessner with contributing to Rio Grande’s growth over the past decade.  In his new position, he will assume oversight of Richline Jewelry US revenue and will report directly to Richline group president and CEO Dave Meleski.

Meanwhile, Makhoulian will be senior vice president of supply chain and operations. In his new post, he will lead Richline jewelry procurement, while reporting to Dave Radcliffe, chief information officer at the group. Makhoulian will supervise the company’s jewelry supply chain, including manufacturing-capacity planning at the group’s factories in the Dominican Republic and China, as well as logistics and diamond-supply operations. Previously, he served for six years as senior vice president of merchandising and research and development at Richline. Makhoulian brings more than 30 years of experience from the luxury sector, holding senior positions with Honora and David Yurman.

“I am pleased to announce these two promotions in support of our longer-term strategy,” said Meleski. “[Gessner] and [Makhoulian] have each earned this through the expertise and leadership our industry demands, and these expanded roles speak to the confidence we have in them as we plan for the future of our company and our businesses.”
