A pink-diamond ring is set to fetch somewhere in the region of $9 million when it leads the upcoming jewelry sale at Phillips in Geneva.
The ring, which features a 6.95-carat, fancy-vivid-purplish-pink, VVS2-clarity, type IIa diamond between triangular diamonds, will headline the November 10 Geneva Jewels Auction: V, Phillips said last week. The sale also contains a collection from the Vanderbilt family, as well as pieces from well-known design houses including Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Bulgari, and Graff.
Phillips will showcase highlights from the sale in New York, Singapore, Taipei and London before their presentation in Geneva.
